Bavaria Business Park

The plan for a trading estate for top-quality services in the grounds of the Bavaria Film studio in Geiselgasteig near Munich makes a subject of the “interweaving” of Nature and Architecture and illustrate dialectics as en ever recurring element in the architecture of Titus Bernhard. Leitmotiv and starting point is a type of “zip fastener” or “backbone” as basic figure: In contrast to the usual large and compact block developments for such a task, we develop villa-type sculptural building blocks that on the one hand reflect the scale, and on the other hand contribute to the address and individualisation and are widely creatively varied (theme and variation). The topography and a sequential structure are the primarily recognisable design components.
