House SL
With its exterior façade theme, House SL fits into the series of phenomenological residential buildings.
Two different houses are combined in one building.
To achieve this, the two north-facing facades were finished with smooth plaster and small windows flush with the exterior surface.
Complementing this, the south facade was finished with rough spray plaster and large windows in deep reveals.
The horizontal formats of the windows connect the two themes.
Inside the residential building, an installed core is detached from the exterior walls. The main uses are arranged around this core and connected by an air space.
The interplay of light and shadow and the experience of the times of day and seasons have created a habitable spatial sculpture.
