The Catholic Church Foundation "Zu den Acht Seligkeiten" (City of Füssen) invited entries for the non-open realization and ideas competition "New construction of a children's daycare centre and a pastoral meeting center in Füssen". The subject of the interdisciplinary competition is the design of a new neighborhood center that meets today's needs.

The design by Titus Bernhard Architekten is based on the guiding principle of arranging the community center, kindergarten and crèche as a coherent ensemble with uniform design elements in a newly designed, attractive public square. The existing crèche will be retained in essential parts, integrated into the new figure and reshaped. In terms of neighbourhood development, a generously dimensioned green belt is proposed, which mobilizes the surroundings and creates a lively center in the district.
